Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s Edition Xbox Controller Out Now
The movie industry is notorious for placating to their most diehard fans. Whether it be posters, figurines, or other collectables, movie enthusiasts will continue to demonstrate loyalty by purchasing licensed material. In recent years, the video game industry has appeased its fanbase by offering deluxe or collector’s edition video game releases. On Monday, Xbox joined the fray by partnering with CD Projekt Red for a special announcement: a Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s Edition Xbox controller.
Limited Edition
Unlike most licensed accessories, the Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s Edition Xbox controller is available now. Priced at $74.99 USD, the officially licensed controller is on par with other limited editions and is $10 more expensive than the standard Xbox wireless controller.
The new device features a rugged blend of silver, gray, and red colors and features the game’s catchphrase “no future” on the right side. The seemingly “worn” paint job further blend the device with Cyberpunk 2077’s neo-futuristic style. Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to release on September 17, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

With game development in flux due to the pandemic, developers are withholding information on new projects. As a result, fans do not have many games to look forward to this summer. Although gamers were disappointed by CD Projekt Red’s decision to delay Cyberpunk 2077 until September, Microsoft is supporting the game on all fronts.
