While the game still has a ways to go to catch Skyrim in lifetime sales, The Witcher 3 is experiencing a surge in sales thanks to the Switch release as well as the recent Netflix series. CD Projekt Red is hoping to build on this momentum by releasing a Switch-themed pro controller and carrying case.

Much like the Diablo III release in late 2018, CD Projekt Red enlisted the help of Power A to develop a Nintendo Switch pro controller.
While the controller does not have an internal rechargeable battery, Power A controllers have the following features:
- Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity
- Motion controls
- Advanced button mapping with two new additional back buttons
- 30hrs of gameplay with two AA batteries
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Nintendo Switch controller also features a customized game skin to go along with the Witcher 3 color scheme. Based on the Diablo III release, we can tell you that the Power A themed controllers are not only cheaper than Nintendo-licensed Pro Controllers, but they also feature a better D-pad as well as a more ergonomic design.
