Elon Musk, CyberTruck, and Rocket League?

When Elon Musk and Tesla revealed the CyberTruck last week, fans were both excited and curious. The sharp angles and other-world aesthetic are like nothing ever produced from a car company. Not to mention, the electric truck demonstrated to be more powerful than a Ford F150.
Unexpected Fanbase
While the Tesla founder bragged on Twitter that pre-orders have topped 250K, the electric car company drew fan support from another source: the video game industry. Fans of the popular Psyonix racing and soccer crossover, Rocket League, instantly fell in love with the CyberTruck’s unique shape. The community even made a demo with the CyberTruck design.
But then fans took their enthusiasm one step further by creating an official petition for Tesla and Psyonix to put CyberTruck into the game. Started by Rocket League fan Nikki Luzader, the petition has over 1,500 signatures in less than 72 hours.
Our great and generous Elon Musk has bestowed upon us a revolutionary vehicle whose beauty, power, and elegance is unsurpassed. Now my fellow gamers, we must fight for what is most undoubtedly meant for us to play with, because let’s face it, most of us will never be able to afford one. Please sign this petition and fight to put it in the hands of the man with the plan himself. He will do it for us. He will do it for the memes. He will do it because he is the one and only: Elon Musk.

Conclusion
While it is unlikely that Psyonix puts the CyberTruck in Rocket League, Tesla must love the free publicity. Even though the truck is a long ways from release, Elon Musk has to consider the reveal a success.
But we want to know what you think. Will you sign the petition? Will you purchase a CyberTruck from Tesla? But what do you think of the truck’s design?
